Aaron Ashworth

Aaron is a combat veteran with 23 years in service to the United States Army.  He has worked in the fields of ministry, mental health, and the government for 20+ years with an intentional focus on improving lives and systems in every role he has held.  Aaron is a Licensed Professional Counselor that specializes in suicide, trauma, and mental health collaborations.  Aaron was selected by the Governor of Oklahoma to oversee the Oklahoma Governor’s Challenge to Reduce Suicide Among Service Members, Veterans, and their Families.  He has worked with federal, state, and local governments on improving care for veterans and first responders.  In 2019, Aaron was selected to attend meetings at the White House to help advice on Veteran Mental Health.  In his work he has created and co-created a number of best practices and systems such as Veterans Care Project Echo, OKVALOR, and policies for Employer and Geratric Mental Health.  Aaron is a graduate of Oral Roberts University with a B.S. in Christian Counseling, a M.A. in Christian Counseling, and M.Div.
